Stay safe this Easter

We're urging the mining industry to keep safety top of mind this Easter holiday season.

We understand that many mining operations continue to operate during the Easter holiday period and that it can be a stressful time of year for people working in the industry and the broader community.

We've put together a range of information about increased risk, including risks from alcohol and other drugs, fatigue, mental health and severe weather. We encourage the industry to share safety messages with its workforce during toolbox talks, safety moments and pre-start meetings.

More information is available on our seasonal safety page.
