The NSW Resources Regulator has released its compliance priorities for January to June 2023.
Implementation of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022, psychosocial risk in the sector, and the new standard rehabilitation conditions on mining leases are among the areas to be prioritised.
Also included in the compliance priorities report (PDF,705.34 KB) are the Regulator’s planned proactive assessment programs, investigation priorities and workshops and seminars for the coming months.
By publishing its compliance priorities, the Regulator aims to be transparent and increase voluntary compliance and community and industry confidence in regulatory activities.
