Collision Avoidance Forum 2023

The NSW Resources Regulator and NSW Minerals Council are partnering to hold the second collision avoidance forum on 22 February 2023 at the Crowne Plaza in the Hunter Valley.

Building on the knowledge and engagement achieved through our first forum, the event will focus on the framework and process for implementing collision avoidance systems.

Those involved in the development and implementation of vehicle interaction prevention systems are encouraged to attend, including mining companies, technology suppliers and equipment manufacturers.

The forum will be face to face only with limited numbers, so please consider who should attend.

EOIs sought for supplier presentations

Expressions of interest are invited from suppliers of collision avoidance technology to present at the Collision Avoidance Forum 2023.

Presentations are to focus on the current functionality, limitations and future development of your technology and should be structured around the established EMERST/ICMM vehicle interaction framework.

Please submit your expression of interest to present to Anthony Margetts via anthony.margetts@regional.nsw.gov.au by Tuesday 3 January 2023.
